Home Movies

I have recently begun to explore a more minimalistic style of conceptual art than I have put together in the past.  The images are taken from old home movies and then painted into a new childlike landscape with a twist often juxtaposed against something that doesn’t make sense.  Children getting beer for Halloween.  An old woman gleefully being abducted by aliens.  They are both neo-nostalgic and anti-Rockwellian.  One panel comics from a non-existent fine arts newspaper.
