Beverly Adams

$310.00

Fame has never fascinated me. However I do love people with very niche fame, even if it’s not for something that interests me. So although I don’t dabble in pop art, I do occasionally want to do more images like this one.

I came across this photo of Beverly Adams recently after watching the atrocious Beach Blanket Bingo out of morbid curiosity. I became very fixated on this image. I just really liked it and wanted to paint it: Maybe because of the niche fame I mentioned before (being famous for starring in trite beach-centric farces with Franky Avalon in her case), maybe I find some interesting inherent sadness in the image, or maybe it’s just because she’s preeeetty. Who can say.
